The video shows two methods to extend L2 subnets and broadcast domains to an external network in Cisco ACI 6.0, namely EPG Extension and Extended Bridged Network (L2OUT). We will looks at scenarios of having default gateways inside and external to ACI fabric. The video looks at configuration to enable three basic network services in Cisco ACI 6.0; DHCP, Syslog and SNMP. DHCP Relay helps fabric endpoints obtain IP address from a DHCP server. Syslog server allows log collection external to ACI. SNMP trap captures fabric event on an external SNMP server.
